I've been in Mumbai, India since late December working on my 3rd book project. This body of work is titled MI MUMBAI, which translates in the local language to "I am Mumbai."

The entire project has been shot on the streets of Mumbai, India with a white backdrop in natural light.

The images are my attempt at giving the citizens of Mumbai agency against standardized modes of identification, thwarting caste and class systems, while simultaneously creating a vision of equality in a declarative and unifying portrait of the city.
